Newquay Tretherras Sixth Form (NT6) offers a vibrant and friendly environment which challenges students to achieve highly so that they can fulfil their potential and their goals. We offer high quality teaching, with a proven track record of success across a wide range of A Level and Vocational subjects. For example, in 2022, 68% of our A level grades were A%-B and 34% were A*-A.
Students choose to study with us because we know all of our students individually and Students are guided through their next steps so that they can decide wisely when it comes to university applications, apprenticeships, and future employment.
Our students engage fully in a wide range of enrichment opportunities, which challenge them to develop the personal attributes to communicate convincingly and confidently in a fast changing world. NT6 students play a prestigious and influential role both at Tretherras and across the Trust: our students are mentors and role models, championing and leading younger pupils in their positions within the Student Leadership Team, Maths and Numeracy Mentors, Outdoor Learning Captains, and supporting teaching at our feeder primaries.
NT6 offers a supportive and purposeful community in which students can thrive and make informed choices about their next steps as young adults.
