Dear Year 11 Students, Parents and Carers,

I hope that you and your families are well at this time.

I wanted to let you know that we have changed the location of the Year 11 transition work for students who want to continue to study with us next year, in order to make this information easier to access.

We have now created space in the ‘Student Shared’ section of SharePoint. If students chose ‘Sixth Form’ from the All Subject tab and click on the ‘Year 11 Transition Work 2020’ they will find tasks set for each subject.

The subject folders can also be accessed through the school website by clicking on the ‘Year 11 Transition Work’ tab on the home page (under the yellow banner).

This work is designed to widen students understanding and enjoyment of the subjects they are interested in studying, and will encourage them to think about, and research, specific areas of the Sixth Form curriculum. This work can take a number of different forms, and will vary in style between subjects. The most important thing is that students get the chance to continue learning, but in a less formal way. I hope they enjoy it.
